Mongolian Cuisine
Learn how to make a Mongolian dish. Like steamed dumplings or hand-cut Mongolian noodles. With two side dishes. Now is the perfect time to learn more about Mongolia via Saran!

Mongolian dishes are similar to some dishes from China, Tibet and surrounding countries. Nomads, known for their self-sufficiency, create surprisingly creative dishes with few ingredients.
Meat, dairy and dough are essential in almost every dish, but we're adding a twist to tradition by exclusively vegan cooking for 10 years. It was an exciting journey of discovery to reinterpret traditional dishes using only plant-based ingredients that we'd love to share with you!
Unique in the Netherlands, because there really is no one else who offers a cooking workshop like this one! Discover Mongolian cuisine accompanied by Saran, who was born and raised in the Mongolian countryside and grew up in a yurt. This is not only an opportunity to learn how to cook delicious dishes, but also to ask Saran any questions you have about Mongolia. She loves telling you all about her native country!
Fun fact: we've been cooking exclusively plant-based food for 10 years. There's probably no other country that eats as much meat as in Mongolia; so that might seem like an odd combination here. But Saran proves that plant-based cooking can be just as delicious. As she always says: “If even I can do it, anyone can do it!
