On Friday evening, April 24 Altai opens its doors for a special living room concert with Batzorig Vaanchig. No big hall, no remote stage, but a warm and personal setting where you can experience the music up close. Please note that the number of places is very limited.
Batzorig Vaanchig is one of Mongolia's most respected throat singers and morin khur players and known worldwide for his powerful, pure style. During this evening, he takes you into traditional Mongolian songs, throat singing and instrumental music that are usually only heard on major stages or in Mongolia itself.
Expect a deep and enchanting musical journey with khömii (throat singing), morin kuur (horse-headed violin), tovshuur (lute) and more! Acoustic, pure and straight out of an ancient nomadic tradition.
