TengerTon is a remarkable quartet of four exceptional Mongolian soloists, emerging from renowned ensembles such as the legendary Egschiglen. Their music takes you on a captivating journey across the vast steppes of Mongolia, where the deep sounds of the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle) and the enchanting tones of khöömii (throat singing) intertwine. With powerful arrangements and instruments such as the bishguur (Mongolian shawm), tsuur (flute), and tovshuur (lute), they breathe new life into centuries-old songs.
