Throat Singing Workshop
Unique opportunity: 2-day throat singing workshop with master singer Batzorig Vaanchig
Two days of intensive learning from one of Mongolia's leading throat singers and Morin Khuur players.

Have you always been curious about overtones and guttural singing? During this unique weekend workshop, you will receive direct guidance from Batzorig Vaanchig: known worldwide as the voice of Mongolian music. With his millions of listeners and followers, he has brought this ancient art of singing to the international stage. Now he shares his knowledge and passion in a small-scale, inspiring setting near Altai. A special opportunity to make music together, learn techniques and experience the rich Mongolian culture up close.
On Saturday, we welcome you with traditional Mongolian milk tea at 1pm. The first workshop starts around 2 p.m., where you'll discover the basics of overtones and throat singing, led by Batzorig. After an authentic Mongolian dinner, a second session follows in the evening, where you dive deeper into the techniques. Afterwards, there is space to relax, play music together or, in good weather, enjoy a campfire.
On Sunday morning, we start with a Mongolian breakfast, followed by a walk on our neighbor's beautiful estate. This is followed by the third workshop. After lunch, we'll end the afternoon with a final workshop to bring together and deepen everything you've learned.
A weekend of music, inspiration, and the unique opportunity to learn directly from Batzorig Vaanchig.
